MGISS is delighted to announce it has successfully been accepted to offer services via the UK Government’s G-Cloud 10 framework.

G-Cloud was launched in 2012 as an initiative targeted at making procurement in the public-sector simpler for technology providers that use cloud-based services. It consists of a series of framework agreements with suppliers, from which public sector organisations can buy services without needing to run a full tender or competition procurement process.

MGISS now has the authority to offer a range of different service types including WMS, cloud hosting, GIS consultancy, high accuracy and location based services and mobile and cloud-based software as an official supplier within the G-Cloud framework.

MGISS Services will be live from 2nd July 2018, please visit https://www.digitalmarketplace.service.gov.uk/

Mike Darracott, Managing Director of MGISS said:

“This is a great step forward for MGISS as it will make the process of public sector clients being able to use our services much simpler. The G-Cloud system in an efficient, authorised and cost-effective way of bringing local and central government services and outside suppliers together to achieve more.”

“Digital Transformation is becoming integrated in all aspects of services, both commercial and public sector and it is crucial that we embrace these changes so that we can generate data of a high quality which is fit for purpose in the world we live and work in.”
